In 2025, with your help, we hosted our Fourth Annual Westin Awards Event, it raised over $40,000 for animals in need at our shelter. 

Today, we invite you to join us for our Fifth Annual Weston Awards Event. The Marian Weston Humanitarian Award was installed in 2000 in the honor of Weston, a long time supporter of the Humane Society. Since then, it has been used to honor those dedicated to the Beatrice Humane Society.

The event will be held Friday, March 27th at Vintage Venue in Beatrice and will feature food, drinks, fundraising games and a silent and live auction to help support our no-kill efforts. All profits go to the Beatrice Humane Society and will help fulfill our mission to shelter, protect, and place lost and homeless companion animals. We also strive to be an educational resource to the city of Beatrice and Gage County.

Please know all proceeds from this major fundraiser are used for the daily operations of BHS and the direct care of the animals we serve. Your kindness and generosity are greatly appreciated!
